in the next 5 years:
I would like to get more work experience perhaps in the reception position as I feel like I could learn a lot from that position.
In the next five years I would like to get more qualifications / do another course at college and have a part-time job and if the jobs income is good I'll hopefully be able find a full-time job and if I get it I'd move closer to the workplace and rent an apartment.
As for the job I wouldn't mind getting a job in advertising, in an office or in the receptionist position, I like animation and drawing however that may be tough to do as a first career choice.

5 questions based on getting a job
job in question : animator
questions:
starter question?
0- what makes you want to become an animator?
I would like to become an animator as at college I did a project where I decided to make an animation, I've always wanted to try to animate and I took this as an opportunity to learn to do so. the initial task we were given was to make a final product it can be any genre or type of video (film, music video, animation etc) and I decided to do an animation. to make an animation I looked at different tutorials and video's as well as experimenting myself with animation. the result of this project helped me understand more techniques in media as well as given me inspiration to make more animation as I enjoyed making this animation a lot.
1- animation takes a lot of patients, so I would like to ask, when it comes to animating would you say your patient?
I believe that I'm patient as I have had experience from my media course at college and for a previous project I made, my task was to make a final product where we can show are skills for the previous year. I wanted to achieve an animation which my role was to draw and edit each scene. A problem that I faced was it a while to load as my computer had a lot of files to manage, but I overcame it by removing some extra files I didn't need anymore. It ended up resulting in a final product that I am happy with and I learnt how to animate.
2- our company is rather strict on deadlines, so are you able able to complete work with a set deadline?
During my college media course all of my projects had deadlines for each part of the project, the task's which I had to complete within the scheduled deadline was the create the product and blog the steps I took and plan what I was going to do. in all of the projects I did certain parts of the blog before the actual making of the product to ensure those parts are complete I did have some issue with noting everything down as I usually take my time explaining my process but I completed it in time, the result of this was I completed the task I was given before the deadline.
3- if it was required, could you do other film work mediums?
I have learnt how to work with other mediums of media like camera's and microphones to make some of the projects I completed in college. An example of me using a zoom mic was for my documentary project where we were tasked to make a documentary about any subject, I decided to do narration for it, as well as record a speed paint, there was an issue with recording my screen however I looked into some tutorials to learn how to do it. this resulted in me learning to use a microphone in an effective way to narrate a story.
4- how good are you at working with others in a team?
My college there was a production company called springboardtv which I did work for, a task I had to assist in was a Live concert with three other people, which I was filming for. For this concert springboard wanted there to be a variety of shots and to make it interesting, so I decided to zoom in on certain shots and pan across to stage in this work I worked in a team where we had to work together to make each shot good for the final edit, an issue that I faced was my battery for the camera ran out and I couldn't record anything for a while but me and my team found another battery which was full. This resulted in my teamwork with the other helpers improving a lot as we worked in a team.
5- what work have you done previously?
Previously the work I have done so far has been a variety of different mediums, for the college course we had multiple different projects which required different skills. for another project I was tasked with was to make an advertising piece which I decided to make a watercolour one, I got myself a camera and filmed the shots of the colour expanding and blending together and chose some music that worked well. However I did struggle trying to record and paint at the same time so I asked a friend to assist me in this and it worked the way I wanted it to. This project resulted in me learning how to appeal to an audience, edit scenes and colour correct. I have also done animation for a project at college and really enjoyed it because I learnt new skills and techniques from experimenting with it.
